Last weekend, Eric and I were walking around Ann Arbor and we came across a local celebrity, “The Michael Jackson Guy“, who has been dancing to Michael Jackson’s music in the same alley for almost 15 years. When we passed him in the car I was reminded about him and was curious to see if he was still dancing to Michael Jackson these days. So, we passed by on foot and found that, indeed, he was still dancing and was appropriately wearing a shirt to memorialize the “king of pop.” I felt pretty lucky to see him that day – I can only imagine what’s been going through his mind since he has devoted so much of his time to the singer. And, after a weekend of listening to Michael Jackson float out of my neighbors’ windows and fill up the air outside, it felt like a pretty appropriate memorial.
