The first time I ever learned that one of my past couples was expecting, I was surprised just how excited I was. But, more than that, I felt a unique sense of pride. It was really neat to think I was there on their wedding day, the day they pledged to spend the rest of forever together and to welcome a family together. It was so exciting to see that love grow!
That’s how I felt for Catie and Darnell who were married last year on a beautiful sunny day. This year, they welcomed Reuben into their lives…and what an adorable little guy he is!
As I was photographing Reuben in this spot, I noted how he was in the exact same place I’d photographed Catie’s wedding bouquet not so long ago. LOVE that!
