Last weekend, we made our annual pilgrimage to Christmas Cove Farm in Northport, Michigan for our fall fix of antique apples. I’ve written about Christmas Cove in the past – here and here – but when I pulled our apple finds out of their paper bags yesterday, I couldn’t help but take a few more photographs. In keeping with my ongoing blog series about food, I just wanted to stop in and let you know that these antique apples make me happy. Just in case you were wondering.
I’d also like to know what your favorite apple recipes are. Let me know below. I find myself suddenly in need of a delicious pie crust!
