On Friday, I had the privilege of shooting Diana and Joe’s wedding in Macomb Township. Not only was I excited because it was a beautiful day but I was thrilled because this was my very first wedding! It was a perfect day for Joe and Diana’s garden ceremony and I was anxious to get to work documenting the day and telling their story.
The garden filled up with about 100 people just as the sun turned a beautiful toasty orange color. Surrounded by family and friends, Diana and Joe had the wedding they’d been dreaming of for so long. They had grown up together and had been friends forever. After dating for four years, they were more than ready for their big day!
Diana and Joe, it was an honor to be a part of your wedding day. I wish you all the best in the future!
Justice, the couple’s son, getting ready for his big role as the ringbearer. He filled those shoes well!
Diana and her dad, Roger, walking up the aisle. I could tell he was a proud man that day!
It was so great to see the happiness in each of their eyes the whole evening. I loved this look Diana was giving Joe just after being announced as husband and wife for the very first time.

The first dance!
Really, how cute is this?
Diana’s dad had some great moves! He definitely got the dance floor moving!
Congratulations, Joe and Diana!
