My favorite part of Easter this year was watching all of the little ones revel in the magic of the holiday. Of course they don’t understand what the holiday is all about yet but, boy, do they know how to celebrate. I felt so lucky to be able to watch as my cousins got exhausted from shooting foam darts at each other for so long and as our nephews asked to be sung the same song several times in a row. It impresses me how simple the world is for little ones – and who would have it any other way? Easter was great this year as we sat back and watched all of the childhood magic unfold. Happy times!
Here’s our nephew, Calen, as he sings the Jack and Jill song with Aunt Margaret:
And his brother, my godson, Nathan just enjoying life on the floor:
Trains are the staple toy and Calen loved when Aunt Cathy filled up the cars with jellybeans and chicks!:
Here’s Ava, a cousin from my mom’s side, and always a riot. I could watch her for days like she is TV. And here’s Nathan again just hanging out with his dad. :D
Oh, yep, one more verse of the Jack and Jill song!
And our family’s little ham, Abbie, with her gorgeous eyes!:
Here’s hoping he magic of childhood follows them all for life!
